Fr. Ed, a native Californian, was ordained in St. Vibiana's
Cathedral by Cardinal Timothy Manning, for service to the Archdiocese of Los
Angeles on June 15, 1985. He served previously as an Associate Pastor at St. Cyprian
Church in Long Beach and St. Margaret Mary Church in Lomita. In 1994 he was appointed as Pastor of the Chinese Catholic
Mission in Monterey Park at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. In 2000, he was appointed as Pastor of St. Anthony of
Padua Parish in Gardena. His predecessor, Fr. Peter McGee, had been his
childhood pastor in Lompoc. From 2006 through 2019 he served as Pastor of the combined
parishes of St. James the Less in La Crescenta and Holy Redeemer in
Montrose. On July 1, 2019, he became the Fourth Pastor of the Church
of the Beatitudes of Our Lord. He serves as a Leadership consultant for Catholic Leadership
Institute and as a Priest Learning Leader in National Programs: Good
Leaders, Good Shepherds and Next Generation Parish. He has devoted himself to the building up of Evangelization,
Catholic Education, Adult Formation, Catechetical and Youth ministries. His motto is: Serve the Lord with Gladness!
