Food Distribution on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month, 4:00 - 4:45 PM in Marron Hall.

1. Bring non-perishable food, in unbreakable containers, to Mass (canned meats, beans, fruit, vegetables & packaged pastas, ramen, mac-n-cheese, cereal, etc.)
2. Make monetary donations (designated Good Samaritan pantry) through your weekly envelope or the on-line Giving site.
3. Donate gift cards to Walmart or Sam's Club.

HISTORY: 

1. We supported the Habitat Holiday basket program for distribution. (December 2021)
2. We completed a repair/access project in Pico Rivera. (December 2021)
3. We refurbished a family dwelling for a disabled Veteran and his family. (March 2022)
4. We assisted in starting an 8 house, new build project.  (June 2022)
5. We continued our work on the 8 houses. (December 2022)
6. We helped bring to completion our 8 houses (June 2023)
7. We worked on a home rehab project in Long Beach (October 2023)

Habitat for Humanity Catholic Coalition Build 12/14

Beatitudes of Our Lord Catholic Church is coming together in support of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (Habitat LA) this Christmas. In partnership with the Habitat LA Catholic Coalition, we are raising support to help build eight new affordable homes for hard working, low-income families seeking home ownership for the 1st time.  A year from now, these families will be "home for the holidays." 

The homes being constructed are located on Holmes Ave. in Los Angeles and on Saturday, December 14th, the church will bring together volunteers to help to build this neighborhood.  Thank you for considering a contribution to help reach our goal, as we put God's love into action to build homes, community, and hope!

We are pleased to announce that on New Year's Eve over 50 of our parishioners signed up to donate blood; and, that over 41 units were donated at this critical time!
